Alexandra Kay Becomes Lil’ Nashville’s Surprise Bartender for One Very Special Night

You never quite know who might walk through the doors at Lil’ Nashville – and this time, we had a very special guest stepping behind the bar!

On Friday 26 June, we welcomed American country artist Alexandra Kay to Lil’ Nashville for an unforgettable surprise pop-up ahead of her London festival performance.

But Alexandra wasn’t just stopping by for a drink. For one night only, she became our very own surprise bartender, serving Espresso Martinis to Lil’ Nashville guests – made using coffee from her own brand, The Coffee Girl.

From Country Star to Lil’ Nashville Bartender

Country music and coffee fans will already know that coffee is a huge part of Alexandra Kay’s story.

Before performing on stages around the world, Alexandra became known to millions online for her “coffee covers”, sharing videos of herself singing country songs while making her morning coffee.

That connection eventually grew into The Coffee Girl, Alexandra’s own coffee shop and brand based in her hometown of Waterloo, Illinois.

So when Alexandra came to Lil’ Nashville, there was really only one cocktail she could serve: Espresso Martinis!

Guests had the chance to enjoy Espresso Martinis made with Coffee Girl coffee beans and personally served by Alexandra herself.

It was the perfect combination of two worlds – country music and coffee – brought together inside London’s authentic Nashville-inspired honky-tonk.

We couldn’t have Alexandra behind the bar without making the evening even more exciting.

Alongside the surprise appearance, guests had the chance to enter a free raffle to win 50 Espresso Martinis, made using The Coffee Girl coffee beans.

Yes, you read that correctly – FIFTY!

Alexandra served drinks between 8:30pm and 9:30pm, giving fans a rare opportunity to meet her in a completely different setting before her big London performance.

For us, it was exactly the kind of spontaneous country music moment we love creating at Lil’ Nashville.
